About: A blog for inspiring pictures, ponderings, philosophical ramblings, and the occassional rant.

Sipping hot tea, Vetusta Morla playing lightly, and reading a Colombian satire.  Documentation of a happy moment.

Today seemed like a good day to buy a ukulele.  I’ve wanted one since I was a little girl.  My great grandmother really knew how to shred it, so naturally, it’s in my blood.  My small hands already feel more at home on the ukulele frets than they ever did on the guitar.  Is it ironic that it’s the dead of winter and I’m playing Hawaiian tunes?
